Is the 4,500 figure a typo? I’ve heard it is closer to 1,500 acres. Can this be confirmed either way?

4500 is a confirmed number. The fire has spread all the way to the top of Oak Creek Canyon, reached the mouth of Pumphouse Wash and there was a jumper @ West Fork also, which has become a new “front” line.
