Arizona is beautiful. And one way to check out the beauty is by navigating those roads less traveled. Ah, what a joy to wander and explore Mother Nature away from the crowds, the traffic, the noise. This weekend, explore one of Arizona’s many scenic drives. It does wonders for the mind, body and soul.

Funny Fotos: Attack of the Haboob

We love to laugh at Arizona Highways… so we thought it would be fun to commission funny fotos for the blog… besides, who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh!

If you have a funny foto that a) relates to Arizona, our mission (travel and the beauty —and sometimes untamed beauty — that is our state) and b) is appropriate for all readers, send it our way. We’ll be posting a funny foto on the blog every Saturday.

We thought the above photo taken just before the haboob hit a quiet central Phoenix neighborhood summed up exactly what we’re looking for…

Funny fotos can be sent to kritchie@azdot.gov.
