When did this season begin to be referred as “monsoon” in Arizona? (same for haboob) I grew up there and have talked to others who don’t remember hearing these terms. Does anyone know?

  7. pretty pictures, this reminded me when I was young we went to Arizona and my brothers friend, a real nutty person had a really nice mustang and one day it rained like cats and dogs and under the bridges they were impassable due to water and this guy decided to ride the cement sides of the bridge, don’t know what it is called, I am like this dude is crazy!!lol he abused this car which was sad because today it would be antique.

  8. Wow, incredible images. Thank you so much for sharing!
