Well, duh. That was supposed to go on the landscape shots post. I do love this vintage cover, though. Great placement of the saguaros, and such awesome clouds.
My Uncle Robert Leatherman imparted his love of photography to me – teaching me the best photo darkroom “tricks” for the best black and white prints. This vintage 1943 cover brings it all back to mind. We are so used to color now days that we have largely lost our appreciation for excellent B&W work. “Uncle Bob” also helped me to love AZ HIGHWAYS back when and where we lived in southern California. This is a great internet feature. Thanks.
