What are some of the more reasonable Inns & B&Bs in AZ for seniors on a budget? I love getting out and sightseeing these beautiful sights in Arizona, but have to watch the expenses. Any ideas on that subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for a most beautiful, inspiring magazine. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it over the years. There is none better.

  2. Hi Brigitte,

Thank you for your note. You may want to check out the lodging section of the Arizona Highways Website for budget friendly options. But please let us know where you are going, perhaps we can offer up some additional suggestions.
    Thanks much!

  3. One of the things to remember atbout Bed and Breakfasts and Inns vs. Hotels and Resorts is that although at intial glance their pricing may seem to have a higher price point – it is infact many times “all inclusive” and includes appetizers, beverages, snacks, breakfast, etc. and when these things are factored in they really are a great value for your mney!

  4. We have great summer rates beginning at $89 per night at The Inns at El Rancho Merlita. Check out our spread in the July issue of AZ Highways!

  5. The Verde River Rock House in Payson, Arizona (http://www.verderiverrockhouse.com) will also be featured in the July issue of Arizona Highways (we are sooo excited) – we are a splendid oasis from the desert heat and yet only a little over an hour from Phoenix and two plus hours from the Tucson area — in addition to being a Bed and Breakfast we are a “foodies haven” and offer a full a full range of services including ATV rental! We offer discounted rates to for midweek stays – check us out in the July issue when it hits the newstands and internet! Can’t wait!!
