I don’t know where everybody was on Sunday, but they weren’t on the Sterling Pass Trail in Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona. On what can only be described as an aboslutely perfect fall day, I saw only seven other hikers along this trail. Hard to understand, but that’s the great thing about Arizona. There are so many trails that even in a busy area like Sedona, you can acutally find some solitude. It’s a moderate hike, in terms of difficulty, but it’s extreme in terms of beauty. Check it out sometime.
